5 Signs of Fatigue – Can You See Them?
Do you feel constantly tired? Something you used to enjoy now has stopped enjoying? Even after a good night’s sleep, you run out of energy? In the modern world, we encounter such situations more and more often. And while a short-term decline in form from time to time happens to everyone and is perfectly normal, constant fatigue should be a warning sign!
At the beginning, it is necessary to separate the issues of “accidental” fatigue, associated with, for example, a difficult week at work or increased physical activity, from permanent exhaustion, which hinders everyday functioning, and sometimes is a sign of more serious diseases.
The former wears off quickly, it is often enough to slow down and sleep well to get everything back to normal. The latter accompanies us constantly and even when we do not undertake increased mental or physical activity, it is difficult for us to function normally.
Check if you have these symptoms and think about how long they last – if you find that for weeks or months, you should have basic tests (blood, urine) and consult your doctor to rule out ailments such as diabetes, anemia or depression.
Do you go to bed, turn from side to side and you can’t sleep a blind eye? After sleeping for 2-3 hours, you wake up in the middle of the night and stay awake until morning? During the day you are sleepy, irritable, and the night does not bring rest?
This is a sign of constant fatigue. Perhaps you work too hard, cannot cope with stress, or do not care about sleep hygiene. Try to calm down in the evening, you can try meditation, move more, fall asleep and wake up at fixed times, even on weekends. If that doesn’t work, the problem may be much more complex.
You used to be an oasis of peace and now you resemble a time bomb? You lack patience with children, do you have a row in the store, do you react nervously to trivialities? This is another symptom of constant fatigue. The body does not have time to regenerate, and the eternal functioning on deficits causes mood changes or outbursts of anger.

Decline in libido
This is another warning sign. Appetite for sex usually depends on a multitude of factors. When we are stressed, we don’t get enough sleep, something hurts us – intimacy takes a back seat. Of course, the culprit of a decrease in libido may also be stimulants, improper diet or simply the lack of a feeling of closeness with a partner, but this ailment most often affects people complaining about constant fatigue.
Sometimes we get a headache when we don’t drink enough water or when the weather changes. However, when we complain about such ailments every day (sometimes they are accompanied by dizziness), it may be related to constant fatigue. Tension headaches – because these are the ones most common to tired people – are located on the sides of the head, and some compare them to a pressure bandage. They can last up to a week! Long-lasting headaches should be consulted with a doctor.
An exhausted organism puts a lot of effort into everyday functioning – that’s why it cannot always protect us when an infection occurs. If you constantly catch colds and flu, and your mouth is often infected with herpes, it’s time to take care of yourself!
